(Andrea POV)
We entered in the building, and Gabirele’s phone started ringing. He looked towards me and I nodded.
“I can take the elevator alone. You don’t need to babysit me,” I said, and he nodded before looking towards his watch. I stepped out of his car, and he reversed it. I turned towards the elevator and the garage closed behind his car.
“Was there any emergency?” I mumbled when I heard a scream which jolted my whole being.
“F*ck! My heart was about to stop,” I put a hand on my heart, and it was thudding in my chest like a beating drum. Another blood-curdling scream pulled me out of my thoughts.
“Should I check?” I asked myself, but I started walking towards the door before I could think about it. A small space was present on the door, so I stood on my tippy-toes to peek ins
