I nearly jolt out of my skin when I look up and see his figure standing next to me. I sigh in relief when I realize it's just him and shrug in response. "I'm trying to figure out what to tell my mom. She told me to check on my husband but he's busy currently so..."
"I see." Aux glances at Joshua's door then at me again. "Well it seems he'll be busy with some personal business, do you want to wait for him until he finishes?"
"By standing here?"
"I was going to suggest walking around outside but if you want―"
"No, It's fine. We can walk outside. I just―" I sigh in resignation with everything, "―I'm not very good at talking with my mom. She's a bit mind draining." I suddenly tense up in realization at what I said.
Why am I talking to him about this? I shouldn't be saying this about her.
