Sage continued to scroll through Kai's call logs as we walked when she came across a particular number which had been calling him non- stop in past few days.
"This has to be who is keeping her with," She muttered to herself, but I could hear her.
"Don't," I said, as she tried to call the number.
"You should send a text instead," I suggested.
"It's safer that way," I added.
Sage nodded her head in agreement as she started to type a message.
She sent the number a text message as we walked as soon got a reply as a notification popped up.
"What did he say?" I asked, as I looked at Kai.
"He asked where I was and why I had not been picking up his calls," She said, as she looked at me.
