"ASHER'S POV"
Hailey's voice frightened me as I stood in front of her.
"Your mother didn't want to you to know she was sick Hailey," I said, as I looked at her eyes which were burning in anger.
"I just figured you needed to be here for her," I uttered, as I hoped she would understand.
Hailey's expression immediately changed from being angry to gloomy as she looked at her mother.
"Why did you tell me mom?" She asked, as tears rolled down from her eyes.
For some reason, Hailey tears affected me as it made me really sad and I couldn't understand why.
I wanted to move closer to her and give a long hug but I couldn't as I had to hold myself together.
"You should both go and talk in the room," I suggested, as everyone was starting to look at us.
