"HAILEY'S POV"
Mother and I had not said a word to since each other as we just sat in the room looking at each other.
"Why did you not tell me you were sick mom?" I asked, breaking the silence as I looked at her.
"I should be your side and you are trying to shut me out!" I added.
"I'm not shutting you out Hailey," Mom replied.
"You are mom," I remarked, raising my voice.
"You didn't think to call me and tell me what was going on," I added.
"I didn't want to involve you Hailey," Mother said, as her expression changed.
