In the evening, I managed to finish up my assignment and send it to Tyler. He sent in his, all edited and revised. I read his story in less than an hour and it was a wonderful story about rebellion. He portrayed the two characters quite beautifully and I wondered how long it took him to write it. Just like he had mentioned earlier, it was about a girl and a boy—both of them standing on their own path but trying to reach the same destination. The boy wanted to become independent from his parents who kept on controlling his life whereas the girl wanted to rebel against the norms and break the rules of society. It was a conflicting situation, but Tyler wrote it so well that I didn't know which one of them I was supposed to root for. It was like one of those stories where both the characters
