Chapter 30
It was terrible and it was heartbreaking.
I gave Eloise another call, but she didn't pick up again. It went straight to voicemail for the third time. I really wanted to talk to her but it seemed like she was either busy or she was already sleeping. Which was just awful. I could really talk to her.
Turning off my phone, I tossed it to the side before getting off the bed and walking over to the large, wide windows. My arms folded across my chest as I looked outside. There was nothing really of interest outside and most of the lights were off throughout the city too. Everyone was probably asleep, just like I should have been but the moment Tyler left, I couldn't help thinking about everything.
