I am sure you are wondering weather Helios had forgiven his maker for her betrayal. The answer is absolutely not. He was a great and wonderful man but was short in forgiveness with such heartbreak as he had suffered. He could forgive matters in which were a forgiven type such as my ignorance and stubbornness when I was newly turned but he lacked the patience of forgiveness when it came to betrayal. And took the consequences of being so unforgiving.
But though his heart never really heald from this betrayal he returned to his old self. Rose and I were overjoyed at his newly found awareness of life that I thought we should show our appreciation. Rose and I had decided to surprise him with a special gift. A very hard thing to do i might add. To surprise him. For he knew everything I was thinking. But I managed to do so out of a great deal of luck.
The surprise in which I am referring to was a beautiful wooden plaqe with his name inscribed on the front. It was polished with liquor and trimmed with gold plating.
I was quit surprised that I was able to keep the surprise a secret that I became so exited that I almost ruined it.
"Whats with you Erin? You're acting like a Rabbit bouncing all about." Stated Helios smiling.
"Forgive me Helios. There is something I would like to give you."
"And what is that?" As he finished this question Rose and Thomas came into the room with the plaqe.
"I know we don't celebrate birthdays and such things but we wanted to show you our appreciation for all you've done for us." I said.
When Helios saw the plaqe his eyes filled with tears.
"You... did this for me?"
"It was Erin's idea. He deserves most of the credit. He even polished the wood." Stated Rose. Helios was indeed surprised and most pleased.
"How could I have been such a horrible and selfish man? I am very thankful for all of you and I must ask your forgiveness." He said choking back his tears.
"You needn't be forgiven for your feelings. I am very proud of you Helios. Welcome back." I stated.
"The student has succeeded the teacher." He replied smiling.
As many more years passed we became a very loving and tight nit family. After twenty or so years we we made our own coven and it grows to this day. The community grows even now and the future is looking bright. And it is my hope that this story continues throughout the centuries to come.
