Chapter 13: His Luna. His Obsession.

447 Words
The war was over. The blood had dried. But Kael’s hunger for Aria? Still burned like fire. He carried her to the Alpha wing that night, her body still sore from the fight, her pulse still thundering with adrenaline and something deeper—need. As he closed the door behind them, Aria stood at the edge of the bed, back to him, breathing heavy. Her skin buzzed where his mark still tingled. “You’ve been patient,” she said softly. Kael stepped behind her, his chest brushing her spine. “Barely.” “Then take me.” She didn’t have to ask twice. Kael spun her gently, lifting her by the waist, lips crashing into hers like they had something to prove. And they did. She was his. He was hers. And there was no going back. His hands slid down her sides, gripping her thighs as she wrapped them around his hips. He slammed her against the wall, devouring her moans like oxygen. She clung to him, her body already on fire, the mark pulsing in sync with every touch, every growl. “You don’t know what you do to me,” he whispered against her neck. “I think I do,” she gasped as his tongue traced the edge of her shoulder. “I feel it.” “I’ve wanted to lose control for so long,” he said, voice husky. “But you—you break me.” She tugged at his shirt, his pants, her clothes falling like petals across the floor. Kael lifted her again, carried her to the bed like she was something fragile… until he dropped her and crawled on top like a man starving. Time stopped. The world fell away. And the Alpha who never wanted a Luna? Worshipped her like a goddess. Later, Aria lay tangled in sheets, her body humming, Kael’s chest rising slowly beneath her cheek. He ran his fingers through her hair. “I should warn you,” he said with a crooked smile. “I’m going to be obsessed with you now.” “Now?” she laughed. “You weren’t before?” He tilted her chin up. “Not like this.” His eyes darkened, voice dropping. “I’ll kill for you. Burn down kingdoms for you. Lose every war if it means protecting your peace.” Aria’s throat tightened. “I’ve never belonged anywhere,” she whispered. “Until you.” Kael rolled her under him, brushing a kiss to her lips. “You don’t just belong here, Aria. You belong to me.” She didn’t run. Didn’t flinch. She pulled him closer. And whispered, “Then claim me again.”
