And all this because I did not want to go and eat at any of the others’ houses, whose doors always were open for me, so they told me, but that I had trouble going and interrupting their lives for me. When I was my wife that was daily, with any excuse, she made me go out and visit one or the other, either to celebrate a birth, a ceremony, or simply because " it was on our way" as she used to say.
