After a few hours of dancing, I decided I
needed some air. Chay wanted to stay an extra few minutes to plug in some phone numbers of a few other she wolves we had hooked up with. Chay would be in charge of exchanging the phone number while I made my way outside. I was getting all sweaty, feeling nasty, my hair was starting to frizz, and my mini dress was starting to cling to me like saran wrap on hot moist brownies. It was uncomfortable to say the least. I finally made my way through the packed club and exited the main entrance. I walked over to my car to have something to lean on. There was a refreshing, cool breeze tonight, and just what I needed to cool off. I could still hear the music bumping, people
outside chatting and talking about all the hotties up in the club, and couples starting to make out near their vehicles. It was quite enjoyable and relaxing. It’s kind of rare to have this many werewolves in the same spot and not have a huge brawl going on. There was
something different in the air tonight though. A sense of calm, peace, happiness, and it was amazing.
Chay finally stumbled out of the club and made her way over to me. She
leaned up against my car with me and we relished in the cool air in silence. Finally, she spoke and said, “oh my gosh girl gimme your phone before I forget to plug all the girls’ phone numbers into your phone too. Maybe some night we all can meet up and hit some clubs together, or go out for brunch or something.” That sounded like a great idea so I handed Chay my phone. All of a sudden, I got goosebumps all over my body like we were being watched. I quickly stood straight up and started sniffing the air for danger. Chay
reacted immediately and asked what was going on. I told her it was probably nothing, but I all of a sudden got goosebumps all over like a sense of danger or something. She told me it
was probably the alcohol and the cool breeze mixed together. I decided maybe she was right and we went on to talk about where we were headed to next. We had a couple more hours until we should probably get some rest somewhere to regain energy for tomorrow night.
We decided to go to a club we actually haven’t been to yet. It was brand new and just opened last weekend. I’m the shy type so I didn’t want to go to that spot yet, especially not knowing who even goes there. Sometimes it’s really a drag for Chay that I am so shy. She’s never come out and said it to me, but I can always tell by her body language and her facial expressions. This time I said hell with it, let’s go! I have never seenChay so excited in my life. That girl was acting like a toddler who got told yes to go to a candy shop before bedtime. It was great! All I could do was laugh at her and tell her to get her crazy ass in her car and let’s do this before I changed my mind. I have never seen
her move so fast. Like, I swear she put turbo speed in her heels or something.
Anyways, we both got into our cars and sped off down the street and around the
corner. As soon as we rounded the corner, we both hit the breaks. The sight of the club was absolutely breathtaking. The building was like a Roman castle. It was all white, blacked out windows, gigantic pillars to the entryway, and a red carpet leading to the main entrance
doorway. There were huge bodyguards checking ID’s for the legal age limit. In the werewolf community you are allowed to start drinking when you are sixteen years old, but both Chay and I noticed at the same time that they allow humans here also. We drove up to what they call the Palace Nightclub, and a valet guy took our keys, handed us a ticket, and parked our cars for us. I was all giddy, thinking oh my this is going to be a night to remember. Instead of being nervous, or filled with anxiety, I was actually super excited.
Besides, if the outside looks this gorgeous, I could not wait to see what the inside looked like. Chay was super excited too. We both could not stop smiling and making the little girl
quiet squeal noises.
We finally made our way to the entrance, and the bouncer at the door waved us to go on through, but then stopped us because another group of girls started to complain that
we did not have to show our licenses to the man. Chay and I looked at each other, looked at the girls, then handed the bouncer our licenses at the same time. He checked them, handed our licenses back to us, told us to enjoy our night, and waved us on through.
Wow does not even express the amazement we walked into. It was like the moon goddess herself came down from the heavens and built this place herself, with her magical touch. There were racks and racks across the entire ceiling with nothing but lights and strobe lights attached to them, the whole perimeter of the ceiling had big speakers attached to it, so no matter where you were sitting or standing, all you could hear was music. They had
an excellent DJ up in a booth up a set of stairs that looked like they were made of puregold.
We slowly made our way to the bar, and just when you think things couldn't get any better, the bar was made of thick glass that was see through, but had a clear, starry, night sky embedded into it. It was absolutely beautiful and something I would want in my own house. All the floors were made of elegant hardwood with the exception of the dance floor. The dance floor was also made of an unbreakable glass that had a black light built into it so the light was facing upwards, making all the people on the dance floor glow in
neon whatever color they were wearing for outfits. It was stunning to say the least.
I think this will definitely be our new hotspot on the weekends from now on. “This place is fantastic!”Chay yelled at me. I shook my head and smiled at her. This is definitely the new happening place to be, and I was so happy with myself for telling Chay let’s do this.
Great job Star, I said to myself with a small pat on the back.
We both ordered three rum and fruit punch drinks and six buttershots, which are butterscotch schnapps with Bailey’s Irish cream on top, and topped off with some whipped cream. They are so yummy! The hardest part was finding a table to sit at, but eventually after about ten minutes we succeeded in finding one in a corner, all the way in the back.
From this view, it was great. We could see the DJ booth, the people, hear the music, almost see the bar, and the front entrance. The restrooms were actually right near us too.
Chay and I downed one glass of our rum and fruit punch, and three of our shots. We could barely get up out of our stools after that. I love this feeling, because for some reason it makes me feel free, like I can actually be myself and come out of my shell.
We danced and finished our drinks in the next three hours. We met a whole lot of new people, some were even human. They were actually pretty cool. Men and women alike had a great time. There
were a lot of phone number exchanges, and I was just hoping I could remember who they were the next day haha. I know if I don’t remember, Chay definitely will. I don’t know how she does it, but no matter how sloshed she gets, she always remembers everything. It’s
crazy to me because I can hardly remember a damn thing. She calls me a lightweight drinker. Well, maybe I am but I still have fun doing it.
We were dancing away, getting ready to say our goodbyes, and once again I got
those goosebumps again. What in the world? Ok, I let the first time go because I was sweaty and standing outside in the cool night’s breeze, but this time, we have not even made it outside yet. I feel like something or someone is watching me very intently, making me shiver. I slowly looked around the dance floor, trying to see if I could get a clue as to
who it could be. All I see is people laughing, joking, dancing. There has to be a reason for this, I said to myself.
Chay noticed my uneasiness, and asked what was going on. I told her it was those goosebumps again. This time she didn’t blame it on the alcohol or the cool breeze. She couldn’t give me that excuse this time. She started to look around the club with me just to see if she noticed something different that I haven’t.
Then it happened. I locked eyes with the most majestic wolf I have ever seen in my life. He was gorgeous! He had slicked back, jet black hair, piercing golden eyes, and he was wearing a black t-shirt that clearly showed his eight pack abs and pure muscled biceps, and black jeans that looked kinda snug and showed his package and his muscle bound legs. His face was almost mosaic with just a little scruff for a beard and mustache. He was perfect!
I had no idea who this guy was. I have never seen him before in my life. Chay waved her hands in front of my face. I snapped out of my trance and looked at her. I found the goosebump giver. She laughed at me and told me to point the way. He was gone! Noooo my heart screamed. Where did he go? I actually felt depressed for a moment until Chay
reminded me it was already three am and we needed some rest to party all day tomorrow.
