CHAPTER FORTY-FOUR
“Just a minute!” Teddy ran down the stairs of his condominium and answered the front door.
Georgia waltzed inside. “How could you do it?”
He closed the door. “Come again?”
“You’ve been playing with me all this time so don’t you dare do it now!” She grabbed him by the shirt. “Why did you lie?”
“About what?”
“Come on, Teddy!” She let him go. “You can drop the innocent act. I know Anthony’s my father.”
He avoided her angry stare and went into his living room.
Georgia stomped in after him. “Say something!” She threw her purse on the glass coffee table.
Teddy sat on the couch, massaging his fist. “What do you want me to say?”
“You asshole.” She sat on the table. “Why did you make me think he wasn’t my father? How could you do something like that?”
