Alvina's Point of View
“What did you say?” Leon asked quietly, his expression changing immediately.
“I want Richard to be locked up for assault,” I repeated confidently, looking Leon in the eyes.
There was a long pause, Leon didn't say a word, he just stared at me with a sorry expression.
“Take him out of here and lock him up in the basement,” Leon said to the two guards, still looking me in the eyes.
“Dad please,” Richard begged desperately, as he was dragged away.
Leon kept looking me in the eyes, the atmosphere between us was agitated.
Neither of us spoke or even moved.
“You are all fired,” Leon said firmly, picking me from the chair and carrying me into our room.
Immediately the door closed, and I struggled to free myself from his grip.
