The alarm woke Lynda at the usual time on Monday morning. For the first time in longer than she could remember, she didn"t want to get up and go to work. The last week with Dylan had been incredible and she wanted it to continue. Why couldn"t it continue? she asked herself. It wouldn"t be the same with her working but that didn"t mean it had to end.
Why couldn"t it continue?"Want me to make coffee?" Dylan"s voice brought her back to the present.
"I"ll stop on the way and get some, you go back to sleep." She pushed herself out of bed and shuffled into the bathroom for a shower and to get ready.
A good while later, she stepped out of the bathroom and found the bed empty. Lynda couldn"t help but frown.
