By the time they made it home, Lynda was exhausted. Fair Park had been fun, but the ride of the Ferris wheel had been more exhausting than she"d anticipated. She hadn"t planned on going when she took him there, she never did. She"d been avoiding Ferris wheels for years and usually didn"t have trouble making excuses. But Dylan had commented that the view from up there must be amazing so she"d wanted to let him go. She knew without asking he wouldn"t go alone, so she"d braved it. Getting on the ride had been terrifying, but once they"d gotten the ride loaded, she"d seen how enclosed it was and there was no way she, or anyone, could fall out, at least as long as the door remained closed, she"d let herself be distracted by the view.
