The idea that bloomed full force after Torht’s comment chased Thomas through the rest of the afternoon. Even though it held danger for him, he couldn’t let it go. But as his conviction grew that he should try it, the reasons for not doing it multiplied as well. Odda couldn’t read his mind through the Bond, but he could sense his emotions.
