Tasmina The noise in the drawing room was cacophonous. Salma was arguing with Maha and Rikom, Banu was speaking loudly to Enzo, Felan was shouting at whoever would listen. Darya was reasoning with me as to why something had gone terribly wrong. As I listened to her droning on, I realised that she expected me, as a mystic, to fix it somehow. Then there were the two girls, Diha, and Banu’s daughter, Shio, who seemed to be raising their voices just to be a part of the mayhem.  Only Faris stood quietly, watching the havoc around him.  “Enough!” Rikom shouted, standing up.  His voice boomed across the room and silence fell quickly.  “I hear your concerns. But the fact remains that Rodin is my Beta, and Faris is my Gamma. Goddess has chosen – it is not for us to question Her decisions.”  “
