Chapter Eight Playing the hero. When Damian arrived outside Shoppers Paradise a little before 10 am, dark rings under his eyes spoke of exhaustion, but the flicker of hope was noticeable. He wore a simple navy blue suit, with a crisp white shirt and looked rather dapper. The kid cleaned up nice, I had to give him that.
