Mistake

ALEX'S POV
When I arrive at breakfast at mrs V's place she tells me Olive and Thea won't join us because they need to get to work and I knew that she was avoiding me so I made an excuse to leave and I'm on my way back to the city. She can't run from me we have a lot to talk about right now. I call Jack to get her address from him. "hey Jack can you send me Olives address"
"why do you want my sister's address Alex" he asks confused.
"she left for the city and last night se left something at mine after the party she had a lot to drink and spend the night at the hotel and I would like to give it back to her" s**t he is going to kick my lying ass.
"ok I'll send it to you now" he says I thank him and hang up.
I drive to her apartment and wait by the door looks like she really did have to go to work because no one is home.
Her car stops in the driveway and she gets out.
"Alex what are you doing here" she looks confused
"You seemed to try and avoid me this morning so I came here" I say smiling
"I leave you two talking I'll come back later" Thea said and got back in the car and drove away.
"Looks like you don't have to be at the hospital after all" I say bluntly.
"Alex please don't" she looks at her feet while talking. I take her chin in my hand and lift her head to look at me
"Are you avoiding me Olive"
"To be honest, yes Alex I was trying to avoid you" she says
"And why's that baby" I ask her
"I was embarrassed, I was drunk made a mistake" she's looking away
"You mean our night together was a mistake" I ask
She does not answer right away she looks at her feet again and say
"yes Alex it was a mistake"
"all right baby if you believe it was a mistake I'll let it go you just have to understand one thing, it was no mistake for me I regret nothing we did and Jack is going to hang my ass for this I know but you are no mistake" I take her hand and give her a hug, kiss her on the top of her head and tell her to go inside and I drive away heartbroken.
