OLIVE'S POV
After the most awkward hello in history I make my way to the bartender with Thea by my side.
"Damn girl that was awkward" Thea pats my shoulder
"No s**t, do you think they could hear our conversation" I ask her whilst signaling the bartender for 2 drinks.
"we must stop talking about him I don't want him or my brother finding out about my crush" I say frowning
"it's fine girl relax they didn't hear us" she says taking a sip of her gin and tonic.
"Olive" Alex calls my name whilst approaching us.
"I have to go" Thea says winking
"Yes Alex" I say rolling my eyes at T
"would you like to dance" Alex asks me and my heart does a filp
"of course" I say taking his hand
He leads me to the dance floor and wraps his arms around me.
"So where is your doctor boyfriend" he asks me.
I get tears in my eyes and say
"I don't know maybe still wrapped around the tramp I caught him with not sure"
He stops dancing to look at me.
"s**t I'm sorry I didn't know" he looks at me.
"I don't want your pitty Alex" I tell him and turn around to walk away.
He grabs my arm and I loose by balance and land on his chest, he wraps his arms around me and hug me tightly.
"it's not pitty Olive it's his loss you deserve better" he gives me a soft kiss on my head
"let's get a drink" he takes my hand and lead me off the dance floor towards the bar.
"I think I need a few of those" I say
We get to the bar and he order drinks for us and tells the bartender to keep them comming.
