OLIVE'S POV

The next day when I get to work there is a big bouquet of flowers on the nursing station. Molly one of the other nurses working with us say"the card has your name on Olive"

Thea looks at me with raised eyebrows "wow girl you think it's from Alex"

I opened the card 'I know you are scared Olive but I really do care about you A'

"it's from Alex" I say with tears in my eyes and give the card to Thea.

"girl maybe you should see where this thing goes you never know he could be your forever" she says.

I look at her confused "your suppose to be on my side T not his"

"did he say he wants to try" she asks

"I didn't give him a chance to say anything" I tell her.

"than talk to him Olive, just hear him out" I think she's right.

I take out my phone and text him.

'flowers really Alex?'

'Yes Olive really'

'you ready to talk now?'

Olive

'I don't know Alex'

'have lunch with me then we can talk'

'I'll meet you at the café down the street at 2'

'can't wait to see you'

"hope you're happy T I'm having lunch with Alex" I roll my eyes at her.

I try to stay busy all morning to keep my mind off Alex.

Before I know I have to leave to go meet him.
