15. Sebastian

Sitting in Eduardo, my Papi's lounge room waiting for him. My eyes sparkled as I watched Liliana intreact with Eduardo's dogs. Gorgeous Doberman dogs, three guard dogs, Zeus, Phantom and Cerberus. Normally it takes them ages to warm up to someone but with Liliana it took 10 minutes. "So Sebastian, how is the buisness going?" Patricia asked. Turning to face her, I noticed she had gotten more botox done. Patricia was Eduardo's new love intrest, they've only been dating for 9 months and she believes she runs this place. But I want Eduardo to be happy even if that means putting up with her. Patricia, she had beady gray eyes that are like two pieces of steel. Her silky, wavy, brown hair is worn in a style that reminds me of a dragon's scales. She had cream coloured skin, which of course showed a few wrinkles she was yet to get rid of. Bringing the whiskey glass to my lips and savouring the flavour, "Buisness is good, I've managed to invest and buy into a few shipment yards around new York and Chile." Patricia hummed while looking outside, seeing Liliana stroke the dogs back, "What's with her? I thought you had taste?" She asked. I sucked in a deep breath, pretending I didn't hear those words some out of her mouth. "Well Patricia, unlike you. She is everything I have ever dreamed of and more, not once has she asked for money or for me to buy her things. She insists to help out those in need, just like Gianna." Patricia gasped, thinking over the insult I just gave her. "And Patricia, if you ever speak about Liliana like that. I will cut out your tongue and sew your mouth shut. I only tolerate you, for Eduardo's sake. Liliana is perfect in anyway. She may be different to a lot of women but I love her for that," I spoke before taking another sip of my wishkey. "Sebastian, sorry to keep you waiting," Eduardo spoke as he walked into the living room. "No worries Papi," I replied, standing up to shake his hand. Giving him a man hug. "How have you been Papi?" "Oh you know, not bad. Getting some work done on the house. Where is she? Where's Liliana?" Eduardo asked. "Outside, playing with the mutts." Patricia mumbled and huffed. "Don't you think she's weird Eduardo?" Eduardo frowned, while my blood boiled. My fists clenched. I wish I could just shut her up. "Oh, well it's good to see her bonding with the dogs. I have a favour to ask you Sebestian, would you mind taking them back with you? With me getting older. It's harder for me to take them for a walk. And Patricia doesn't like them, even though they are wonderful dogs." "Of course Papi, we need to extra security, now with everything that has happened. I'm sure Liliana will be excited." I knew that Liliana will care for them, as she does to everyone in the mansion when they come for buisness. Always making treats and sending the workers wild because of how kind she is. "How about we step into the office, which at the moment is in the garage." Following Eduardo into the garage, he wasnt wrong when he said it was converted. It had everything an office would. Sitting down on the leather seat, Eduardo sat in front of me. "I managed to get in contact with the man who owns the building and he has accepted my offer and is handing me the keys tomorrow." "Thank you Papi, I want to give Liliana the world. She deserves it." I spoke. Eduardo and Gianna always taught me that family always come first before anything. Even though we may be evil on the outside and inside, our family and our love for those we trust are huge. It's why we get affected when we are betrayed by those we trusted the most. "Yes she does, I've heard from those who work at the bar. They tell me everything that goes on." Eduardo sighed softly. "I can't get rid of Manuel because he will rat to the police. I can't have that, plus they've been evolved with us since her great great grandfather was with us." I wish we could do something to that bastard and her mother of course. The way they treat Lilliana. I remember a time when Liliana always used to come to my office in the city and cry because of what her parents were putting her through. She puts on a brave face but there is only so much she can handle. "We have also secured a safe house, for you and Liliana. In case, with her ex after her. There may be more of our past coming as well. The safe house is a few hours out of town." Nodding, "Of course papi. I also managed to close those contracts you wanted me. I know that we are start construction next week, here in the city." "Great that's wonderful, do you think Liliana will like it. You did sent through her style and I will try and get everything she likes," Eduardo fussed. When I told my Papi that I was dating Liliana, I could tell he was excited over the phone. He always said that someone out there needed me and I needed them. He also sound the person I find will tame my heart which Liliana is beginning to do. "Shebwill love it. Hate me for it but love it, she doesn't like being protected," I replied causing Patricia to snigger again. Rolling my eyes, I heard a knock at the door. "Come in," Eduardo spoke. The door opened and in stepped Liliana with the three dogs trailing behind her. A massive smile on her face and a hand behind her back. "What's with the smile baby?" I ask, my eyebrows raising. Liliana pulled out a pink flower from behind her back, she handed one to Patricia, to me and to Eduardo. "Thanks baby," placing the flower in my free pocket that could be seen. Eduardo did the same while Patricia scoffed again, causing Liliana to look up at her with wide eyes. "You are such a child. No wonder your parents hated you, because if I was them. I would hate you too!" Patricia screamed. "I-i-im sorry," Liliana whimpered, wiping a tear away and ran out of the room. "Li-" I couldn't finish as she ran out the room. Glaring hard at Patricia. "If I were you papi I would sew her mouth shut. What is wrong with you?" I ran after Liliana.
