INTERROGATION

(JENNIE) Laying in bed within the solitude of my room, staring at the blank wall as I contemplated the next few moments of peace I had until the girls arrived as I knew they would want details about the past few hours after yesterday; although to be honest it was my own fault for texting them. I haven't heard anything for Lisa after the fair and our moment in the car and it felt so unsettling not knowing if see was okay or not after I had dragged up or tried to bring up the situation from sophomore year. Taking a deep breath my head inevitably turned to the window as I wanted to text Lisa and see if she ultimately wasn't mad at me; especially since I had forgiven her for what happened at Jisoo's party or for what almost happened. Although I am just as guilty as wanting to pursue it just like Lisa had been. Who knows if Lisa hadn't had opened her mouth with that virgin c***k who knows were our action might have led. I grabbed the stuff dog I had not so cleverly named 'Ruffy' that Lisa had won for me yesterday that sat next to the three foot teddy bear that I was secretly calling 'LisBear'. Clinging the dog to my chest I sat up and just thought about everything that Lisa had said to me at the party; how she practically begged for another kiss and told me I was beautiful; then later the next morning with her ranting apologies that she was jealous of that other guy dancing on me and how she wants me; as a friend. That slightly killed me inside. The past few hours have done nothing but cause chaotic and irrational thoughts of doubt. Was Lisa actually being straight with me and her feelings or was she playing me still? I had told her to cut the bullshit because I'm tired of playing games trying to figure her out and I truly am. Yet part of me knows that I would always welcome Lisa in my life with open arms, giving countless chances because I know Lisa is worth saving. "Hey girl, hey." Wendy bellowed barging into my room with not a care in the world. Just like Lisa had. "Geez Wendz, heard of knocking? What if she wasn't dressed?" Rosé addressed walking in after Wendy. "Not like there's anything new to see." Declared Irene plopping a seat on the other end of the my mattress. "True. Oh the stories we will tell in the nursing home." Wendy laughed sitting on the edge of the mattress "Way to look into the future Wendz." Rosé chuckled rolling her eyes sitting next to Irene on the bed. "How about we focus on the present now and why we are here alright? So Jen, Lisa update, go! And make it quick we have practice." Irene demanded trying to rush the meeting. "What practice? You graduated, barely." Rosé snide with a confused smirk on her lips. "Summer program for college. Now can we please get on with this?" Irene sneered. "Alright Jen, so, give us the dirty details." Wendy insisted inching closer to me. "Nothing interesting. I'm sure Rosie told you about the mall and that encounter." I started. "She did." Answered both Irene and Wendy as Rosé nodded her head in conformance. "What happened at the party? Did Lisa make a move? Did you? Oh my god! Did you lose your V?" Wendy ranted with an ongoing string of questions. "Wendz! Breath." Irene shouted seeming annoyed at the overly excited debate team captain. I sat in silence hearing the blood rush in my ears taking a deep breath, " We... Lisa and I... we uhm, kissed; but nothing else happened." I confirmed. Wendy squealed as Irene practically jump out of her seat and sit closer as the information got interesting while Rosé just simply smiled and placed a hand on my knee. "You seem displeased about it. Did you want something to happen?" Rosé asked. I shrugged, "I don't know. No, perhaps cause she was drunk and yes because... Oh my god it was so amazing. " I confessed. "How far did it go?" Wendy questioned me. I didn't know exactly how to tell my friends the extent of Lisa and mines make out session; so I decided to show them. My hands shook as I pulled the baggy t-shirt over my head as I sat in a low cut tank top that showed the hickeys I had sustained from Lisa's kisses. Expression of shock, awe and confusion with I'm sure harbored conflicted questions I waited for this interrogation to start. "Holy crap." "Kitty getting freaky." "Well Damn." Expressed Rosé, Irene, and Wendy with widened eyes. "So what happened? Spill Jen. How was it?" Irene searched. "Is Lisa just as well marked?" Wendy chuckled. Replacing my shirt on my body I covered back up I explained I hadn't marked Lisa as well as she had to me and that it was like feeling you're going over a hill and getting that swoosh feeling in your stomach, I felt like I had peed myself out of fear if not arousal. I disclosed to them that I haven't been able to think about anything else but that night; every word and the constant pulsing between my legs as my panties quickly got wet and my c**t easily aroused. Lips getting fat from sucking and biting at the flesh, skin tingling out of the excitement of what would have happened and the hyper awareness my breasts were in my bra; wanting Lisa to fondle them. Constantly deep breathing trying to control the urges and keep my head straight even though my neck was hypersensitive; getting a look from Lisa's lust craved eyes like an animal ready to feed. It was all too much. "Damn. Somebody open a window cause it just got hella hot up in here." Wendy commented fanning herself. "So? Sounds like something was going to happen. What stopped?" Irene asked cautiously if not curiously taking note of the sadness in my tone. "Lisa being Lisa?" Rosé answers. "Oh, her arrogant mouth killed the mood?" Wendy clarified not seeming shocked. "Yeah. That it did" I sighed. "What she say?" Irene asked. "Some c***k about virgins being easy and all that. Then I cut her off there and kicked her out of the room." I babbled keeping my eyes locked on the carpet. "Well then Lisa has another thing coming if she thinks you're easy. She doesn't know that Jennie Ruby Jane Kim doesn't go down without a fight." Irene announced as if it was a royal decree. "Kinda already does Bae." I smiled shyly to myself. "Wait, what?" Questioned Rosé. "Explain!" Gasped Wendy. "I only told you half of last night and how I felt when Lisa had me pinned." I spoke feeling my cheeks blush. "You pushed her onto the bed, didn't you?" Rosé smiled with a proud tone in her voice that resonated in her words. "Oh you little vixen." Wendy sang shoving my shoulder a bit. "Jen letting out the claws. Nice." Irene chimed in with an approving grin on her face folding her arms about her chest. "Jennie, what's going on?" Rosé questioned taking in my once again silence. "I haven't heard from Lisa since yesterday." I confessed. "Is that bad?" Irene spoke. Maybe? I tried bringing up the Somi thing yesterday. " I answered. "Oh no." "Jennie, you didn't?" "Why?" "I don't know. I just wanted to get her to open up you know? She never talks about it and harboring that kinda pain isn't healthy, at all." I sighed crossing my knees to my chest. "Jen, there's a reason she doesn't and you shouldn't go digging up old graves." Rosé inquired. "I know I just wanted to feel close to her." I answered. "That's what s*x is for sweetie." Wendy interjected. "I mean on a deeper level." I scoffed somewhat disgusted at Wendy's response. "And what's deeper than having Lisa wrist deep in you?" Wendy continued to tease. "Wendy. Enough!" Rosé cut in growing just as annoyed. "Alright geez. Sensitive much?" Wendy scoffed rolling her eyes. "So, Lisa has been M.I.A since then? She could be busy you know or hasn't had a chance to text or call." Irene chimed in trying to quell the awkward moment. "Yeah. Maybe Lisa went back to work? Probably what's keeping her busy." I addressed making a reasonable excuse with the information from yesterday. "Could be." Rosé firmly smiled trying to ease my worried mind. "Lisa works?" Irene asked stunned. "Hmm? Yeah, at some automatic shop with Jisoo." I answered a bit out of my mind contemplating a few things. "Guess she likes working with her hands." Wendy chuckled with her side comment. I rolled my eyes, "Anything else?" "Lisa must really enjoy getting down and dirty." Irene added. "Yeah, wrist deep." Wendy laughed digging up her previous comment. I shook my head suppressing a smile and trying not to laugh finding it hard to neglect it. "Maybe we can drive by see what's up?" Rosé suggested assuming that would help. "No. Don't need to look like a pining girlfriend when we're just... friends. Better to leave well enough alone. Right?" I questioned looking around the room at my friends for the right answer as I had no singlet of a clue. "Yeah. Like you said Jen, two can play this game." Rosé hypothesized using my words from the other day about playing hard to get. "Wait. When did she say that? Did I miss something?" Irene pondered looking at Rosé and I before looking at Wendy who seemed equally as lost. "You and me both, Irene." Wendy answered, " Now can we get going? Practice remember? Chop chop." Wendy continued. "Where are we even going?" I asked getting up to change slipping into shorts. "The field as usual. Why?" Irene answered. "Just asking. We going? Your car or mine?" I spoke looking at Irene making sure I had everything I needed before we all left my house and getting into my 2007 Honda Accord. "So, you going to tell me what really is wracking your brain?" Irene asked waiting for an answer she wasn't going to get as I put the car in reverse and heading to the field. Elbows to the ribs, feet to the face, knees to everything, letting your teammates throw you into the air as you trust them to catch you. Being a flyer coming back down, limbs flailing, knowing you will probably smack someone when getting caught but no one hesitates for a second. A sane person would bail but loyal teammates catch you no matter what. Being on the squad is like having a second family; there are so many highs and lows together when celebrating a victory or crying of a loss. We are so connected at this point we basically speak our own language; communicate full sentences in single glances as we are like one. Cheerleading has been my passion for years. Ever since I tried out in sixth grade, I fell in love with the sport more and more each day, You have to put every fiber of your being into every single moment. Being a flyer is such a rush and one of the more fun cheer leading positions as flyers are expected to pump up the crowd with sharp stunts and a smile on our faces. Normally I live for practice; some days. Its usually helps take my mind off of whatever is bothering me but it isn't working today as my thoughts were plagued of Lara instead of teaching these kids. Thankfully this was temporary as I was simply a visitor to help Irene out, although it was pretty smart since its something to add to her college application. "Jen! Jennie Kim." Irene called her tone addressing the notion that she was slightly annoyed at the fact that I had zoned out... again. "My bad Bae. What did I miss?" I asked still slightly in a daze and confused. "You were about to tell this little ones the importance of being a flyer since I'm a base." Irene carried on. "Right. Being a flyer our mission each game is to keep the crowd going no matter what! We always have to make sure that we have them with us and our team. But we can't let that stop us! Right?" I addressed the kids with pure spirit in my speech rallying them up as bright eyes and individual cheers echoed from each one. "Great now who wants to go over routines? That's the best part of practice. When you nail a routine the excitement and pride is overwhelming. So whose ready to start?" I asked seeing multiple little hands raise excitingly before breaking off into their groups. "Where's your head at today Jen? You've been spacey since we left the house." Irene stated standing next to me. "Sorry. It's just" "Lisa still?" Irene cut me off. I nodded giving a simply enough answer to what had my attention. Irene released a deep sight, "Come on." She spoke grabbing my hand. "Where are we going?" I asked. "To find Lisa and get an answer ." Irene confirmed. "Irene, no it's not worth it. Besides, I don't know where Lisa works." I answered taking my hand out of Irene's grasp. "Jen, I'm the one who dared you to get Lisa's wall down and fall in love and I'm not going to let you back down now." Irene revealed. "Irene-" "Jennie, just let me help you."
