“The prosecutor was wrong,” Rob said. “And the fire marshal didn’t prove the fire had multiple points of origin.”
“What do you mean?” she asked.
“You told me the defense arson expert provided no evidence that electrical problems caused the fire. But scientific analysis has made some advances on other fronts, too. Did anyone perform an autopsy on the victim to determine cause of death?”
She winced. The state pathologist had done the autopsy and testified at the trial.
Nora had read the testimony but she’d skipped the official report attached as an exhibit.
