ALONDRA’S POV
My body froze. My heart jumped hard and it felt like it was suddenly in my throat. I turned and lifted my body slightly, still laying on my stomach.
“What?” Raven sat up and leaned against the headboard. His face was expressionless as he looked up at me.
“I’m in love with you, Alondra. I’m in love with you and it f*****g sucks.” he said, throwing the blanket off his naked body and slipping into his shorts. He walked over to the window and sat on the seat next to it. I wasn’t expecting that reaction.
“What the hell just happened?” I asked, pulling the sheet around my body and getting out of the bed.
“Loving you f*****g sucks, Alondra. It’s bullshit. This is all bullshit.” He stood to his feet, his muscular body towering my five foot seven inch frame.
