“Alpha, the girl was attacked by a rogue trying to protect a witch,” Jarvis said as he entered my office. I rose from my chair with urgency.
“Is she dead?” Jarvis shook his head.
“No, sir. She held her own for a while, but it proved futile. The rogue was about to kill her when the alpha appeared out of nowhere. He got to her in time.” I sat back in my seat again, annoyed by his words.
“Damn that boy. I thought he would have accepted her rejection,” I scoffed. I was hoping the young alpha would be out of my way by now. Stubborn son of a b***h.
“He took her back home and stayed with her the entire night. He left her and headed back to his pack earlier this morning.” Jarvis continued.
