Charlotte closed her eyes as the pain of Lord Hunt's bite washed through her. It stung like any other bite, but there was a rush behind it too. She had no idea how long he kept his fangs pressed into her skin, so by the time he started to ease the angry wound, it felt like several minutes had gone by. She struggled to get away from him before but as his lips and tongue moved to soothe the bite, Charlotte found herself clinging to him.
The bite on her neck ended up being much more sensitive than the one on her shoulder. There wasn't anything she could do to try and stop the shuddering that kept running down her back the longer his touch lasted.
