I feel so groggy; my mind is completely fuzzy and my body hurts like hell. I can't seem to open my eyes; there’s a pain in my head even thinking about opening my eyes.
The last thing I remember is Orion and I talking about our pups, s**t my pups. My heart is beating so hard in my chest that all I can hear is the pounding in my ears.
Taking some deep breaths, I try to calm myself, I need to get my senses back under control, I need to figure out what's going on. I can't reach my wolf. She is there but she's not responding. It's like she's sleeping. Calming myself down enough to get my heart rate under control I strain my hearing too; I am sure I can hear mumbling. Faint, possibly in another room.
