The Grave Robbers. Episode 3 Written by Charles N Okere A few hours later, Wisdom paced around his room, feeling devastated. Everything that had occurred at Desmond's house still seemed like a dream. He couldn't believe Desmond had made them take such a deadly oath and blamed himself for agreeing to it. He glanced at his friend Solomon, who appeared less concerned about the situation. "Solomon, to be honest, if I had known, I wouldn't have taken that oath. I can't imagine myself stealing from the dead," Wisdom said. "The deed has already been done, and there's no going back. Let's start preparing ourselves for the first task ahead," Solomon responded. "So, we'll be robbing from the grave of someone we know nothing about?" Wisdom asked. "That's none of our business; we just have to get the task done and earn our first million." "Are you normal? Are you sure you're normal? Why shouldn't that be our business? We're going to a cemetery, to the grave of a person we don't know, to dig out the corpse and rob from it. What if the person is a witch, wizard, or a very evil person?" Wisdom questioned. Solomon stared at Wisdom for a while without saying a word. "Like I said, that's none of our business; that shouldn't bother you," Solomon responded, breaking the silence. "I can't believe you're still saying this. This graveyard is located in a community well-known for witchcraft, sorcery, diabolism, satanism, evil, and wickedness. What if the person in question falls into one of these categories?" Wisdom asked. "Wizzy, now you're beginning to piss me off. Would you stop acting like a kid and be positive? Stop the shallow-minded attitude of yours," Solomon said. Wisdom stared at Solomon in surprise for a while without saying a word. He took a deep breath and walked into his room, leaving Solomon alone in the sitting room. A while later, Solomon got up and walked to the entrance of the door leading to Wisdom's room, informing him that he wanted to take his leave. However, Wisdom didn't utter a word, so Solomon walked out of the sitting room, shutting the door. To be continued. ... © Charles N Okere 2025
