Desmond, the mastermind and boss, took $18 million for himself, while the six individuals involved in the operation shared $12 million. They were ecstatic and praised Desmond. To celebrate their newfound wealth, Desmond threw a lavish welcome party for Wisdom and Solomon, welcoming them to the lucrative business circle.

Wisdom and Solomon excelled in their multi-million naira ventures, exploring real estate, gas and oil, electrical gadget imports and exports, Italian furniture, artworks, raw materials, cash crops, and more. Their success and names were featured in local and international magazines, newspapers, TV stations, radio stations, f*******:, Twitter, i********:, and various blogs. They lived lives of luxury, power, and fame.

However, three year later, Wisdom began experiencing strange occurrences he couldn't explain. He had recurring nightmares about a valley filled with bones and the cemetery where they conducted the operation. He heard strange voices and saw things others couldn't. His house's electrical appliances would turn on and off by themselves. Wisdom thought the AI system controlling the appliances was faulty and called the company to investigate, but they found nothing wrong.

Wisdom confided in Solomon about his experiences, but Solomon suggested he see a doctor, attributing it to stress. Wisdom took a vacation to California, Los Angeles, but the problem persisted. He saw a strange creature in black and traveled to Brazil, Scotland, Finland, London, Canada, and Japan, seeking solutions.

A business partner advised Wisdom to consult an Indian magician, believing his issues stemmed from diabolic attacks. The magician provided a dark substance, but it worsened Wisdom's condition. Desperate, Wisdom reported back to Solomon, who suggested he meet with Desmond.

Desmond questioned Wisdom about the ritual protection he instructed them to perform during the operation. Wisdom claimed to have followed the instructions, but Desmond seemed skeptical. Desmond promised to investigate and get back to Wisdom.

A lot of Wisdom's friends and business associates started avoiding him; they thought he was possessed by something spiritual. Even his fiancée had to call off the engagement due to the constant embarrassment Wisdom had given her in public places. She felt Wisdom had made his wealth through evil or illegal means.

Wisdom attempted suicide several times, but all to no avail. It was as if the Angel of Death was on vacation or perhaps a million miles away from him.

A certain old man who stayed in his neighborhood suggested that he (Wisdom) go to a certain village to seek a solution from an old witch. The village was the same one where they had conducted the operation three years prior. Wisdom did as the old man suggested, a big mistake he shouldn't have made. He should have sought Solomon or Desmond's suggestion before embarking on the deadly journey.

What he was unaware of was that the so-called old witch he was going to see was a strong and loyal worshiper of the ancient wizard.
