I waited on the bench for Marshall to arrive, I needed my friend beside me who could calm me down and listen to me whine about things that haunted me. I was so glad he was coming, it was our thing since years; on my mom’s death anniversary he would come with us to the cemetery and tell mom how I acted in school and how much I embarrass him, it was fun he was always a mood lifter, I totally forgot about him today though, but I was happy that he remembered. I talked to mom more about Eldon, I told her how much of a pain he was and how dad was seeing this beautiful woman he met. The car parked outside of the cemetery and the engine died, there was a shuffle near the gate, I was walking around the cemetery waiting for Marshall just as he walked inside with a bunch of roses, his eyes noticed
