It was an usual monday morning, dad had served me breakfast and passed me some soaked almonds that were left in the bowl after he was done eating, he had a big smile lingering on his face, he was awfully cheer this morning, I didn’t bother asking him because he seemed to be in his own train of thoughts, I ate my breakfast kissed his cheeks and left for school.
I saw some kids outside waiting for their school bus by the sidewalk, I waved at some of them and got in my car, driving away.
“Seren! Seren!” I heard the familiar voice ring in my ears, I smiled and got out of the car. I saw James, a ten year old cute kid with whom I shared a very good bond with, he had the tupperware I gave him cookies, before he left the town for some days with his parents, in his hands.
“Champ you’re back!”
