Avoiding Eldon was stupid, he was everywhere. Just as I thought I could ditch going to Delaney’s place, Charlie insisted that we went. After school I ran to the parking lot like there was some explosive in on the school grounds and I had to get away from it, I ran past the crowds of people just to see Charlie leaning against my car in the parking lot. “What are you doing here?” I asked, he straightened up and smiled down at him.
