Chapter one

311 Words
I ducked as the Xbox controller came flying towards my head and smashed into the wall instead of me. 'Now shut the f**k up!' He screamed at me, I couldn't take this anymore, working night for 80 hours a week was making me exhausted, and I reached breaking point. I picked up the controller and for the first time in three years, stood up to him and threw it back at him 'Don't f*****g speak to me like that! I am done!' I screamed, tears rolling down my face from anger, I picked up a bag, threw in whatever clothes I could and left. After 2 hours of driving, I realised I had nowhere to go, or nobody to turn to. I hadn't spoke to my family in 3 years, because of him, he got into my head and made me think they hated me. I had no friends because he didn't like me speaking to anyone else, the only person I could ring was his mum. We were quite close, she was the closest thing I had to a mum seen as I didn't speak to mine. 'BOOTSSS!' I heard her scream down the phone, that was the nickname she called me, god knows why. I told her what had happened, tears still rolling down my cheeks, after she calmed me down she told me I could go and stay at her house as long as I needed it. hell I wish I never listened to her, because that was the worst mistake of my life. My phone constantly lighting up with text messages from Ricky calling me every name under the sun, how could he treat me like this and yet I still love him I thought to myself as I pulled up on to Ali's drive. Ali is his mum, and she was not a woman to cross.
