Twelve: Mel
The morning of the Council meeting Reese sent me away. Saying that if anything went wrong that he didn’t want me in the way and possibly be killed or placed under arrest. “They need me alive. You, not so much.” Were his words to me that morning. So, I snuck off the Councils lands and have been hiding in a cabin I found about five miles away. It is small and covered in cobwebs. I have cleaned it and am still waiting for Reese to mind link me. It has been over a month now and still no word from him except for later that same day he told me to leave.
