Four Hundred Years of Sleep
One: Journey
I stretch out my large body. I look around and notice all the cobwebs around me. I shake my head to get them off of me and breath a breath of fire to clear them out. I lay my head down wondering why I’m awake. What could have disturbed my sleep. I look into myself and realize that my body is fully recharged of all my magic. Hmmmm, I hum out loud that comes out as a loud grumble as my stomach starts to growl. I stand and shake my big one hundred- and ninety-six-foot body. My head touches the ceiling of my cave. I growl out at the sudden pain on top of my head. I use my magic and turn into my human form. I detest this form, but it is the only way I can get in and out of my cave.
