Forty-Five: Mel
I stayed five steps behind my Alpha as I watch the Vampires. My eyes are glued to the female one. For some reason my eyes follow her as she helps get the children out of the cave off to the side. I don’t know why but for some reason it makes me angry that Reese has offered them to be apart of our pack. If I remember correctly, it is said that their father was a just and compassionate ruler. That it was someone on the inside that was close to him that killed him. It makes me wonder if it was one of his two children.
I watch intently as the brother and sister duo help each and every one in their coven out of the cave. Some of them are so old that they are walking very slowly with a cane or walking stick. I lean my head to the side wondering how it is that a Vampire
