Thirty-Three: Dexter
After we hung up the phone with LeeAnn I look at my brother. “Did you feel that?” I ask him, looking at him hard to see if he tries lying to me. “Yeah, what do you think it means. I mean we can’t know for sure. I mean don’t we have to see her, smell her, to know for sure?” I look down at my phone in my hand. Setting it down on my desk I look into his eyes. “I don’t know but I know what I feel.” I say as Dexter strides to the door. “Where are you going?” He stops and looks back at me with a frown. “I’m going to talk to dad. He should be able to shed some light on what we just experienced.” I nod my head and follow him to the kitchen.
We enter the kitchen and see our mother at the stove making food. “Hey mom, do you know where dad is at?” Dex
