Chapter Six

i sat in Jade's car as it rolled out of the drive way. the car was silent as he drove,'' so ....... where are you going''. he asked his attention focused on the road.'' i don't know, everything was a rush seeing them in the house like that i just couldn't stay. Nathan... he just brought her to the house... i don't... i don't understand''. i broke down into tears in front this man all over again,'' i don't even know what I'm doing'', i said through my sobs.'' i will take you to my place and later we can talk about it'', he said. the entire car ride to his place was quiet, i had calmed after crying for a few minutes. the car stopped in the underground garage of his apartment complex, we both climbed of the car and Jade helped me with my bag before heading to the elevator,'' Audeia, I'm sorry about what happened to you. Nathan had no right to do what he did and I'm ashamed of my self for not standing up for you and for being his friend.'' he looked at my reflection one the doors of the elevator. i turned to him and grabbed his hand,'' this is not your fault and i don't blame you Jade''. i told him smiling at him, he turned to me giving me an intense look. we just stood there starring into each other until the lift came to a stop, the doors sliding open for us. we walked out into a hallway leading to Jade's apartment, he stayed in the VIP section of the building that much i knew but the whole place seemed empty and awfully quite for such a popular place. he gave me aside glance as i looked around the place, we walked for a few seconds before coming to a stop at the end of the hall. Jade unlocked the door to his apartment allowing me in as followed suit with my bag in hand, i looked around his apartment, it was huge for a man who lived alone, i looked at him smiled at him could it be that he brought me here considering it's big enough for the both of us, i had from Nathan once that he moved about trying to get away from a stalker ex-girlfriend meaning that he owned a lot of complex like this one. he came of a room where i think he had dropped my bag,'' i....have to get to work but...... i could stay if you'd like'' he said as he stuffed his hands in his pockets,'' no I'll be fine thank you'', i told him with a small smile. he signed before nodding his heard,'' I'll back soon'', he as he walked out shutting the door behind him. as soon as he left the entire place became silent and empty that was when reality hit me i crushed down my body raking as i cried my heart out. i had never felt so much pain.
