Kael collapsed onto the wide cushion the moment he stepped into the living room, his breath coming out in heavy pants. His shoulders were tense, his aura sharp and restless, as though he had barely restrained his wolf on the way home. "Hey Kael, you’re back," I said softly as I stepped out of the kitchen.
