Ben had the phone on speaker and he was letting the offier, Cat and John listen to this unfold. They hear a loud smack. Cat tears up and Ben knows that Amie just got hit. John sits down and pulls Cat into his chest. "I said you're not going to put your hands on him again. I know what you've been doing since you got out. I saw the bruises on Mom. And my best friend is at the police station now showing the pictures I took of Greyson." Ben could tell that Amie was egging him on. He just hoped she stopped before it got worse.
