Amie was thinking about what Ben told her. She couldn't open her eyes. Amie was smiling or trying to smile at least. She couldn't feel a lot of things and she felt like she was choking. Amie tried coughing and she heard some footsteps. "I think she woke up." "Okay let's take her vitals and if things seem to be normal we'll take the breathing and feeding tubes out." Amie started coughing again except violently. "Nope she's awake. Let's get those tubes out." Amie felt pressure and movement in her throat and started gagging.
