Chapter - 8 vision is back

", what are you doing? You can't see my eyes. It will affect you too. I don't want anyone to die because of me. I can't live with that guilt" she shouted

"shhh... princess, nothing is going to happen!" He said and put his finger on her lips

He pulled another blindfold from his pocket and started putting around her eyes.

"princess! Open your eyes" he said

"no, I wont" she shouted, he can see that she is scared.

"open your eyes" he said sternly.

Anna opened her eyes to see Dilan in front of her eyes, when she saw him, she started panicking

"dont panic, this is a special blindfold made by your friend" he said calmly.

"a special blindfold?" She shuttered, she was shitless scared

"yes princess, you can see the world but the world can't see your eyes. This was made by me specially for you by “your love” he whispered the last part. What's with him and whispering??

Anna squealed in happiness like a 5 year old girl and hugged Dilan and opened her eyes to see dilan. She was mesmerised to see him. He was tall, broad muscles like a warrior, chisled face and she was just staring at his emerald eyes. Dilans words brought her back to the world

"princess!! i know for a fact that you are attracted to me" he smirked at her

" yes.....I mean no, I am not attracted by your not-so-handsome face" she composed herself, she was scolding herself for losing it in front of him.

But dilan noticed the change in her reactions. He knew that she will be his but what if she leave him after knowing the truth? This thought made him sad.

" Shall we go now?" She asked seeing him staring at her.

"with pleasure" he said with a tight smile.

Few days passed,

Dilan and Anna spent their evenings together. They became best friends with a short span of time. Everyone in the palace was surprised to see new annabella. Isabella was the happiest soul in the palace to see the change in her behaviour. she wanted to see Dilan, but he was busy either with anna or his works, so she never got to see him.

"Today , we need to prepare for our war on vuquitish kingdom. So, maa lets start from the armory" Anna and Isabella were walking through the armoury. There were soldiers practicing. Some were practicing archery, some were fighting with swords then she spotted dilan among the soldiers training the women soldiers in archery. He was aiming at the bulls eye. Anna watched him keenly. He always resembled like a warrior, a prince but why will prince work as a designer. She was shocked to see he hit the bulls eye because some random man cannot do that. Only Skilled person can do that. She stood there like a statue. Isabella shook her shoulders "what happened Anna?"

"noth...nothing maa! Just shocked to see Dilan here" she said still in shock

"dilan? Oh ok, but I have something important work in the treasury. So, I'm going ok" Isabella said checking the notes

"ok maa, I will take care of this." She said to her

Saying this isabella went from there and anna went to dilan he was showing how to aim at the bulls eye to the girls. When the girls approached anna everyone bowed her but dilan was concentrating in his target. He aimed at it and he hit the bulls eye.

"You have so many skills hidden inside you" Anna said with a smile.

"greetings princess! Oh about this my father is a warrior so, he trained me too!" He grinned while rubbing his nape

" princess, I think I should teach you too. Ive heard many stories about you that you are a great warrior but i think you are weak you can't even lift the sword? Should I teach you too princess?" He smirked

"ohhhh... someone is challenging! I warn you dilan you will lose because I have defeated so many warriors" she smirked to him

"That means I challenge you princess! If you win I will do whatever you ask but If you lose you should do whatever I say" he challenged her.

" challenge accepted! " Anna was so calm

"princess shall we fight with the archery or swords?" Dilan asked with a smirk

"your choice!" Anna was so calm.

"okay, that means I should go for swords! Because I know you cannot even lift that" he said to her

" lets see " she said casually like it's nothing

Soon they both were in the ground with their swords. Dilan was confused by Anna's calmness. He knew that something is cooking in her mind.

" I know you are not that much good fighter when compared with me so you must say yield and I shall set you free" he said to her

But anna was quiet she doesn't even spare a word. This confused dilan to the core. The bell rang which indicated that they should start fighting.

Dilan lifted his swiftly and lashed out at anna but Anna moved out of the way and dodged it. He kept lashing towards anna and she was only dodging it. This made dilan to confuse more. Dilan kept his sword on Anna's throat and said with a smirk “yield” but in reply anna smirked at him making him more than confused. She then dodged the sword and rolled on her back. Dilan then slashed his sword over Anna's head. Everyone expected that anna will yield but then the sound of swords clashing made them surprised.

Anna started swinging her sword at dilan but dilan dodged it easily which made her land on her back then she stood with great force. Stabbing the sword to the ground she stood with determination. Dilan and anna circled each other. This time dilan initiated the fight but, anna lashed over dilan's head making him to lose his sword and pointed her sword to Dilans throat and then Anna shouted making him flinch in her tone

"yeild" she shouted

"I yield. Calm down princess! You know if someone can burn someone with their gazes then I would've been into ashes right now by your gazes"

But anna was lost deep in thoughts. She didn't even hear what he said. She came out of her trance by the sound of clapping from the audience.

"you are a great warrior princess!" Dilan said

"thank you dilan. You know what you resemble more of my father. He always used to say I am great warrior because my mother(isabella) trained me like her own daughter." She said to him with a sad smile.

Saying it she drowned deep down in her memory lane.

Williams: “yield” my dear friend. You will be saved or else..

Adria : or else what will you do my king? And I will not yield until I give a fight

Saying both the king and queen started fighting. Anna was watching their fight. They were fighting like a enemies not like friends. Soon, the fight came to an end queen Adria won the challenge.

Adria(laughing): I said my king, I wont give up.

The king glared at her which made her to laugh more and he too started laughing with her.

Adria(laughing): the great lord williams lost to me.

Williams: ok, I accept that you are a great fighter. You won I will win next time.

Anna came and hugged williams and Adria

Williams: you know what Anna, Adria is a great warrior. She used to trick and win me all the time whenever we fight. I know you are also a great warrior because she is training like her own daughter.

Anna: I know father, you don't need to remember me and it was great seeing lord williams losing.

Saying it anna and her father started laughing.

She came to the reality but one thing that irked was Dilans qualities.

" come dilan knows have all the qualities of a king or a prince? But he is a designer right. He says that his father is a warrior. Wait, he said his is a warrior that means his father is still alive. I will ask him today evening!" Anna make a note to herself

In the evening dilan and anna got settled in Anna's bedroom which was their usual place to chat when they cannot go out.

"Dilan, can you do me a favour?" She asked him

"why are asking me princess? You order me and I will do it without any second thoughts" Anna smiled warmly at him when he grinned at her like a kid.

"nothing bigger, I need you train our new female soldiers!" She said to him

"okay.... I'll do it from tomorrow" he said with a shrug

" I can't ask Dilan straightly I need to ask him indirectly" she thought

"princess, what happened? Is something bothering you?" He asked seeing her list in memories

"no...not..hin.g D..il..an" she stammered

"you are not a good liar Princess, See you are stammering. You know if a person stammers that means they are lying." He said looking at her.

"can...i...can...ask..you...something?" She stammered even more

“of course princess, anything..you dont need to stammer this much” He said with a calm face but little did he doesn't know what she is planning.

“what...is.your..surname...di...lan?”Anna stammered. Dilan stood up with a fore and looked at her with angry face seeing this Anna got confused..

“Annabella... don't you dare ask that question to me again!”Dilan said angrily making her pissed. Saying this he punched the wall besides him but Anna was not scared but she grew more pissed

“di...dilan! calm down! Why are you getting angry? Why can't I know your surname”Anna asked him with a pissed face. Dilan turned to her and looked at her with his deadly glare

“why can't you tell your surname to me? Why can't you tell me about your past, family? Why do you always ignore this question? Who are you in real Dilan? You said your father is a warrior that means your father is still alive... what is all this Dilan?“ Anna asked all the questions that was bothering her for quite a time.

After finishing she shot her ever famous glare to him and the next second she was pinned to the wall by Dilan

“Dont you dare ask me that Question again! If you ask them or try to find out you will see a different Dilan which will not be good for you annabella!” he shouted at her but Anna didn't get scared for a bit but she was shocked by his reaction. This was the first time he used her name or spoke to her in this way. This made her to grew more pissed

“why cant he say to me his name. Ther is something he is hiding from me. I will find it out Dilan!”Anna said to herself
