Chapter - 12 haunting memories

 Her eyes opened in shock after hearing what he said. “he is not a human being then who is he?” she thought to herself. “what....d..do..yoo..you.. mean...?” she asked him looking at his eyes. That was the first time he saw her eyes, her were also emerald green in colour he stared at her without answering her question. Anna shook him by his shoulders to bring him back into his senses. This made him to came out of his trance. “princess, don't panic, yes, I'm not a human being I am an evil shifter. I came from Ayuca kingdom which is also known as evil kingdom. But princess, please don't ask more than this about me” he said looking down at guilty. Anna saws truthfulness in his eyes. She raised his chin” dont worry I'll not leave in any situation and I trust you. There should be a strong reason why you hide it from me” she said looking at his eyes. Dilan crashed his lips on anna making her eyes go wide. She was shocked by his sudden his reaction but she too returned the kiss. They broke the kiss to catch some breathe.

Dilan and Anna started spending their day together in the evening time. Dilan started helping Anna for the war. As Dilan asked she had hide about their relationship to Isabella.

"anna, are you alright? Are u getting enough sleep in the night? " Isabella asked her seeing her dull face. “yes ma, I'm alright! Its just I'm tired due to the war!” anna said not looking at her. “oh yes! She is tired because she is practicing at the night Isabella!”Ben complained to Isabella.

“What ? anna you're again practicing at night?” Isabella asked Anna while crooking her brows. Anna couldn't help herself she started grinning at her like a fool. “oh my god, Dilan, I'm so gonna kill you for this. How am I going to answer her?” she thought to herself. “anna, what did you do? Is ben saying the truth?” Isabella raised her eyebrows at her. Anna shot a glare at ben who is suppressing his laughter. “what? Why are you glaring at me Anna? I just said the truth” Ben answered her suppressing his laughter. “anna, why are you glaring at him? Answer me! Were you practicing all night?”Isabella asked anna boiling in anger. “Maa, Im... Im..no...not...practicin.. at...night! no no no yes, maa I'm practicing at night because in this war we have to win na maa, thats why I'm practicing at night.” She started blabbering while ben started to laugh “ see, who is blabbering? The great queen of Ardania is blabbering rubbish!” he said in between his laughter. “shut up ben” both mother and daughter said in unison. This made him to stop his laughter and looked at him. “Isabella she didn't answer properly! Ask her what is she doing at night?” ben said. This made anna to snap her at him and shot her deadly glare “ben, you're so gone!” saying it she started running behind who is shouting for help. Isabella murmured "I got my old Anna back”. Soon, the due came to halt and started laughing 

“anna, on a serious note, today is very important we need to finish the war today itself because we are running out of supplies” ben said looking at her. “yes ben, we need to finish this war as soon as possible” saying it both anna and ben went to their respective camp to get changed.

AFTER THE WAR,

Everyone was enjoying their victory, yes, ardania won the war against vuquitish. All were enjoying with drinks and food. Anna, Isabella, Ben, Ivan, Sidney, Ashton were sitting around a table with food and drinks.“Ben, you are drinking like you have no tomorrow” Anna said making him glare at him she laughed at him.”well, if he drinks like this he will have no tomorrow” sidney said with a bored look. “don't worry sidney if I have no tomorrow then I'll make sure that you too don't have tomorrow and we both will go heaven in same vehicle” ben said to sidney taking another glass of beer. “ I haven't planned in dying this soon, and I dont want to go to heaven with you ewww yuck” he said making faces at ben. Soon, he got a smack from Isabella who was irritated by their talks. “ouch! It hurts Bella” he whined at her. “stop arguing like kids sidney” isabella said to him. “he is a kid bella you know na, he needs someone to pamper him everytime to shut his mouth” ashton said rolling his sleeves. “no no no,I don't need anyone to pamper me and I'll never open my mouth but doynt let him come near me bella. You don't know last time he said this he broke my tooth” he cried showing his tooth to isabella. Everyone laughed at him making him whine like a kid but one soul was getting bored with their talks oh, it was absolutely our anna “where is this Dilan, I can't see him anywhere”Anna thought. “maa, I'm tired, I'm going to my chamber maa” anna said to Isabella. “ok Anna” isabella said to her and engaged back in talking. Anna got up and started walking towards her chamber. On her way anna saw her father's room. She knew deep inside she is missing him, his talks, his laughs everything. So, she decided to go to her fathers room. Once, she was inside memories started coming in her mind. She went and stared at her mother and fathers photo. “why didn't you said that to me father? I should have listened to mother. If I listened to her all of this wouldnt have happened. I would not have lost you both. Everything was my mistake.” She said tears forming in her eyes. Soon, she saw his fathers drawer. She went and checked it. It has all the paintings of anna, his mother, his parents photo. In her childhood, she used to think what her father is doing with the paintings of her. Now, she got the answer. She took one picture which has small Anna in williams (Anna's father) hand and her mother standing. She stared at the photo and sat on the bed. She hugged the photo and started crying. “princess!” someone called her but she didn't open her eyes. She was really not in the state.
