The Alpha gestured towards a stately room, proclaiming, “This is the room where we hold our meetings.” As he guided me through the ornate corridors to the meeting hall, he continued, “Just down to the right of this hall is our infirmary.” Alpha Darren seemed really eager to show me around so I was being polite enough to let him even though I would rather spend this time with Zora. She had clearly not been pleased to be on this trip but I had seen her shoulders relax as we arrived and was sure I had made the right choice by letting her come with me.
