Zora’s POV
As Lily joined us on our way outside, the moment between Lucian and I quickly disappeared and while I was a bit annoyed by her presence and increasingly chatty behavior, I was thankful that she had arrived because Lucian might have been able to see through me and read that I was indeed jealous of the prospect that he was going to have some sort of relationship with the Lady.
“So, Zora tells me that you like to read, my Lord.” Lily said with a giggle and I slowed down my steps so that they were walking in front of me, knowing that I would want to see Lucian’s face as he responded if I kept walking beside them and hating being the third wheel.
