Malu

3080 Words

Malu Have you ever heard people saying that your whole life flashes before your eyes when you face death? That’s kind of how I feel now. My heart has fallen apart, and my soul is shredded into pieces, so I head home, having Gabriel and Clara to support me. When we arrive at my place, Clara heads to the kitchen, with promises of some soup, and Gabriel locks my atelier up because of all the chemicals, with promises of taking everything out by tomorrow morning. I don’t say a word. I can’t find my voice, and my head is empty. I don’t know what to think. The only thing I hear is the tic-tac of some alarm clock that would ring anytime now and, when it happens, that’s the end of me. I head straight to my bedroom and take a shower to take that hospital smell out of my body, but I’m on auto mode.
