911 operator: "911 what’s your emergency?" Caller: "I just found my daughter in her room unconscious with a bottle of her prescription medication empty beside her. I think she tried to kill herself." 911 operator: "I am sending EMS. Talking to me on the phone now, will not slow them down or change anything but I need more information. What’s your name?" Caller: "My name is Tracy. My daughter was in her room, I came in to check on her because I heard something fall, she wasn't answering so I came in and found her." 911 operator: "What's her name and age?" Tracy: "Her name is Lucy Rose Rayne and she’s 24 years old." 911 operator: "Okay is she breathing?" Tracy: "Yes." 911 operator: "Okay that’s a good sign. Just stay with her, you’re doing great. Has she been feeling down recently?" Tracy: "Her abusive boyfriend just broke up with her. She hasn’t been acting herself. I’ve been trying to help her the best I can, everyone has been but nothing we are doing is helping her." 911 operator: "Well we are on the way now. You are doing great." Tracy: "Okay, the EMS just arrived." 911 operator: "Okay you go talk to them. Take care of your daughter." Tracy: "Bye" 911 operator: "Bye" Lucy got to the hospital just in time to get her stomach pumped. She ended up taking all 28 tablets of her panic attack medication. She was very lucky to be alive, but she didn't think so. "JUST GIVE ME MORE, I don't want to be here anymore. Please just end it for me now. Please I'm begging you. I can't do this anymore." She was screaming to anyone who would listen in the hospital. The nurses ended up having to give her an injection to knock her out to calm her down. She was going crazy and no one knew why, if she didn't stop she would hurt someone or herself even more. She was all over the place. It could be from the medications that she took but the nurses had a hunch and wanted to do a toxicology screen on her to make sure she wasn't on any other street drugs. Lucy had never done anything but m*******a in her life so she had no problem with them running those tests. Unfortunately the tests would later prove just how much of an animal Theo really was. As Lucy was sleeping off her medications, her father came to the hospital to see her. He looked through the window to Lucy's room and watched his precious baby sleep. "I don't know what to do anymore Doctor Frank." he said to Lucy's new therapist. "She used to be so happy, now she's a shell of her old self. I just want my baby girl back. I want to help her but I don't know how to anymore. What do we do Doctor? Please, she's my baby. We need guidance." He pled to the doctor with his eyes. "I think you should leave her here for now. She needs alot of help. We would like to treat her here for the mandatory 72 hours and then we can decide our best course of action front hat point on." "What if she feels like we are abandoning her?" He questioned the doctor. "Believe me, you showing up and visiting her, telling her how much you care, will help her. But she has alot of work to do on herself if she ever wants to be healthy and happy again. We want to help her with that." He looked into Doctor Frank's eyes and said "Please help us. She's not like this, she's never been like this. She's always been so happy and sweet. She deserves to be better again." Lucy's father Robert sniffled. "I just want my baby back" he said to no one in particular as he slowly walked away. A few hours later, Lucy woke up. Her father Robert was not kidding. She was like a shell of a human. She didn't answer questions, didn't talk and when she did she would ask if Theo called for her. She didn't talk to any of the other people there at all, even the nurses for that matter. You could barely tell she was in the room. She was also extremely skinny and pale. She had 4 panic attacks in the first day of her being here over Theo not wanting to talk to her or even check on her. The third day she was in the hospital she was caught with a phone, calling Theo. Who then set her progress back by telling her she should "Try again and take more" then hung up on her. What an awful human being. Lucy has been through more issues then anyone would truly deem fair in life. For anyone to go through all this and come out on the other end of it okay, takes alot of work and time. As long as she's willing to put that in, that is. The next day the toxicology tests came back. It turns out she had been smoking laced m*******a for who knows how long. Traces of Methamphetamine, Cocaine and Heroin were found in Lucy's blood system. Which explains why she was acting this way. It explained the shaking and the scratching. It also helped explain why she was acting the way she was, with how jumpy and impulsive she was being. One thing was for sure. The doctors have their work cut out for them. It was the 5th day into Lucy's stay in the hospital when she started getting homesick. She started the day by getting put into lockdown when she threatened the staff with a pointy toothbrush, then upped the ante when she attacked a security guard for getting too close to her. It took 3 of them to take her down. It wasn't her brightest moment. When you're coming down off a ridiculous amount of drugs that you didn't even know you were taking, you may do the same. Especially when you're in a place that terrifies you, that you aren't aloud to leave. Over the next few days, there were a few breakdowns, an escape attempt and a lockdown stay. But there was also tears of joy and many ephiphanys. She became more of a person. She became someone who can talk to the other people in the room and even put in her own 2 cents. She became someone who helps people, instead of needing help herself. She became Lucy Rose Rayne again. After almost a month at the hospital, she was released into her father's care with many goodbye gifts, well wishes from her company at the hospital and a new outlook on life. If things are going to stay this way, she needs a big change in life. She can't keep falling back into her old ways with Theo.
