FATE OR DOOM

Anna walked through the mansion gates in awe admiring the scenery around her ...it's gardens were lush and well taken care of the rose were in full bloom and they scented so unique , Alex wasn't exactly thrilled to be within the mansion premises,his face was pale and he was sweating profusely, his eyes searched every where expecting Leo to show up .

"Dad this place is amazing" Anna said to her dad cheerily and happily ,Alex gulped is words were beginning to fail him,he felt sick what kind of father will let his daughter be at the mercy of a killer because of his mistake , he had no idea what kind of game Leo was playing but one thing he knew for sure was that Leo wouldn't forgive him and even if he decides to let him go it will be at the expense of his life .

Leo watched as Anna looked around his garden in awe , she smiled so purely and laughed happily it was as if she had emerged from a painting and sprung to life she was indeed beautiful and almost too innocent..... should he make an appearance or let her enjoy the scenery of his garden he wondered...if all she knew the twisted nature behind the lush gardens they thrived beautifully because of the bodies buried beneath them he smirked if she knew she would be revolted torture was his thing and she was about to be his pet ....the darkness behind the beauty is sickening but it's by product is alluring enough to drag you down.

Pedro approached Leo " should we approach them". he asked

Leo smiled,

" let's go to our guest ".

Alex sighted Leo and froze on his tracks scared and trembling, Anna noticing her father silent turned to see who made her father go stiff and then she saw him Leo , looking quite different from how she saw him yesterday.......she frowned looking at her father and Leo something was amiss she could feel it who really was this man she wondered.

" dad is there a problem " Anna asked worriedly

"Mr Alex I can see you are here " Leo said with a smile that wasn't so welcoming " I already saw your daughter yesterday "

Alex eyes widened looking from Leo to his daughter unable to speak , Anna walked in front of her father to shield him from Leo's dark gaze she was taller than her father so she provided enough shield she wasn't afraid of Leo if he was threatening her father she is determined to protect him at all cost .

Leo's gaze shifted to look at Anna who looked at him directly with her electric blue eyes which no longer bore any trace of softness anymore.....there was a storm raging in her eyes.....Leo stood above her with his eyes towering above her small delicate frame , he gave a small smile

" nice to meet you again Anna I told you we would meet again "

"am not sure if it's nice meeting you again given how much your presence is affecting my father who exactly are you ??" Anna asked with a cold tone

Leo laughed as if amused Alex felt like a coward as he couldn't find his voice still his heart was filed with shame and guilt ..,..Leo bent down to Anna's face frame closely

" let's just say I am the man who owns you and your father's life " Leo replied dropping his voice coldly .

Anna world froze as she couldn't understand how she can be owned when she was born free she turned to her father as If to ask she saw her father's face it told her everything she needed to know .

" father" Anna called out her heart beating fast ...

Alex dropped on his knees his pride broken and he sobbed

" I have failed you ...." he said in tears " I stole for your mother's treatment I stole for you to be able to study at Oxford am sorry"

Anna gulped "how much dad "

"more than 100,000$ " Alex replied hanging his head in shame

Leo looked this scene unfold with an indifferent look he had other places to be

" what will you have me do spare my father's life " Anna said quietly.

Leo's ear perked up in interest and gazed at her briefly before replying

"whatever I want you to be I own you and you are to stay here while your father walks away with his life " Leo announced without an emotion

" done " Anna said immediately

Alex protested insisting that his life should be taken , Anna turned to her father and smiled weakly Alex looked into his daughters eyes and knew her mind was made up he had failed his brave little girl .

" you wouldn't leave this place neither will any of your relatives be allowed here ....your family will be provided for adequately as long as you do well here. " Leo said watching Anna looked up with his with her eyes red rimmed

" may I have last words with my father privately "

Leo gave a slight nod and watched as she walked towards her father and whispered in his ear before walking to him Pedro escorted her father out of the mansion when they were alone she looked at Leo squarely

" you might have my body but not my soul " she spat bitterly with her eyes full of rage.

Leo clenched his jaw and ordered Pedro to take her into the mansion.
