If he was not around, she wouldn't have to serve him.
No one would boss her around either. She could do whatever she wanted and head back to Spring Bay.
Taylor seemed to be able to read her mind. He continued, "Even if I'm not around, you must stay here and don't get yourself into trouble."
"You want me to stay here by myself? Your parents don't welcome me. What if they bully me?"
Taylor didn't answer and only glanced at her.
He was implying that no one would be able to bully her, especially not with her hot temper.
"When I return, I'll help you settle the university enrollment."
